A wine producer of great character and quality often overlooked or set amongst the shadows, it’s great to see the wines gaining ground in The Big Cities of Australia – organic farming underpins things, low intervention winemaking follows. This is a wonderful thing to sip on. Has that suppleness and flow, a velvety course of dark cherry, light but sappy tannins, green herb and pepper, a touch of Chinese five spice and faint gamey character. It’s an easy thing to like with its texture and bright flavours, drinks a charm with a light chew of tannin. Feels pure and even. Nice nice nice.
